Looking to buy mince beef? You don't have to settle for cheap supermarket mixtures. Hiding behind the name excuse of sustainable living, avaricious suppliers will pack their mince with fatty trimmings and low-grade cuts. To produce the best possible culinary results, you need to choose quality mince.
At Peter Bouchier, we only use high-quality organic meat to produce our beef mince. Our grass-fed beef cuts are sourced from farms in New South Wales and Victoria, and then ground in-house at our shops.
Fortunately, all Australian beef mince is legally allowed to come only from 100% muscle meat. You won't find any tongue, tripe, or other undesirables hiding in your beef mince. All Australian beef mince needs to be labelled with:
The difference is etymological. North American countries like Canada and the United States 'grind' their beef. In Britain and other Commonwealth countries, beef is 'minced'.
Gone are the days of using harmful powders and preservatives to give ground beef a long shelf life. If you buy our beef mince fresh in-store, we recommend using it within two days. If ordered online, check the packaging for our recommended use-by date.
