All of our chicken is locally sourced in Victoria and New South Wales from FREPA-accredited free-range suppliers. We are committed to only working with producers who act to ensure sustainability, animal welfare and quality.
We don’t compromise on excellence. All of the meat we accept meets exacting Peter Bouchier standards. So when you come to Peter Bouchier for meat, you leave with the best meat in Australia.
We also have different options on how to order your meat. You can elect to shop in one of our brick-and-mortar stores and have a chat with a butcher, or order online and get chicken sausages delivered straight to your doorstep. Either way, we guarantee outstanding flavour.

Like all of our sausages, our chicken sausages combine protein with salt and fat in a divine mixture that will bring your guests back for more.
Peter Bouchier’s quality sausages are made with natural casings stuffed with beautiful ingredients, including organic, carbon-neutral and free-range meat. You’ll quickly taste how much juicier and more wonderful ethical meat really is.
We source the chicken for our sausages from free-range FREPA accredited producers. They exclusively raise animals professionally and sustainably. Not only is this environmentally conscientious, but we also believe it results in chicken of superior quality. It’s a win-win situation for all involved.
Like our beef, lamb and pork sausages, all of our chicken sausages are gluten-free (including those made with rice flour), so they’re ideal for those with special dietary needs. However, as with all sausages, our chicken sausages contain a small quantity of sulphite preservatives. This is necessary to maintain the longevity and tase of the meat, and these are well beneath daily intake recommendations.
The most rewarding ways to cook chicken sausages are pan-frying them or tossing them onto a searing BBQ (perhaps with a little mineral salt or your choice of spice extracts). These two simple techniques have stood the test of time for their ease and power in bringing out the flavour and magic of the meat.
