Best in Class at the Melbourne Royal - Australian Food Awards
We are thrilled to share a major result for the team. Our Whole Leg Ham was awarded Best in Class at the Melbourne Royal Australian Food Awards. Both our Whole Leg Ham and our Boneless Leg Ham also received Gold medals. It is clear recognition of consistent craft and care from our team and our producers.
Melbourne Royal runs an independent program with expert judges and strict criteria. Products are assessed on flavour, texture, aroma, appearance, and overall balance. Best in Class goes to the top scoring entry in the category. Earning that title means our Whole Leg Ham set the standard this year.

It starts with quality pork from producers who share our standards. We apply a measured cure then allow the time needed for an even uptake. The hams rest to settle before smoking. Smoke is applied with restraint to build a clean savoury profile. Every step is controlled for time and temperature. The goal is clear flavour fine texture and a natural finish. Quality in.
